Kenan Rockmore
If you listen to his boss, Kenan Rockmore is the most mischievous kid in the world. But he's actually just the kind of kid who comes up with crazy ideas...and never comes down from them! Kenan is the brightest kid in his class, but he never seems to get his homework done on time. Why? Probably because he spends most of his time planning something big... like turning the local grocery store into a nightclub, or convincing everyone that Kel has ESP. Give him a chance, and he'll run the country. Give him a job, and he'll run you out of business!
Kel Kimble
Kenan is proud to call Kel his best friend. And why not? Anyone who helps Kenan climb all the stairs to the top of Chicago's Sears Tower deserves to be called a best friend. Kel might resist Kenan's loony schemes at first, but deep down they share the same dreams. Kel's just a teenager doing things his own peculiar way, but when he's with Kenan, things tend to go wrong. And since they're always together, everything seems to go wrong!
Chris Potter
Anybody who meets Chris Potter knows he's...well...a nervous wreck. Chris manages a small Chicago grocery store called Rigby's and takes his job way too seriously. Chris's biggest mistake might have been hiring Kenan to help him out in the store, since Kenan spends more time working up schemes than working behind the cash register. And Chris really starts twitching when he winds up in the middle of those schemes, which--for Chris--happens all too often!

Sheryl Rockmore
She may be loving and sweet, but Kenan's mom is no cream puff. Sheryl Rockmore knows what her kids are up to--most of the time--and she'd rather talk things out with Kenan than just dish out rules or punishments. She's also much more patient with Kel than her husband is. But maybe that's what it takes to survive being Kenan's mom.
Roger Rockmore
Mr. Rockmore is an air traffic controller. It's a tough job, but when you're the father of a kid like Kenan, directing jumbo jets all day seems like a piece of cake. Mr. Rockmore looks tough on the outside, but inside he has no idea how to deal with his kids. He's got a short temper and is not too thrilled about Kel always being in his house--AND at his dinner table!
Kyra Rockmore
Kenan knows that the only thing bigger than his little sister Kyra's ears is her mouth. Her mission: to rat on her big brother. There's no telling where Kyra will pop up next. She could be hiding in a closet, lurking under a bed, or even watching Kenan with binoculars from the roof. The only thing that keeps Kyra out of her brother's hair is her crush on Kel. It's her only weakness... and Kel's biggest problem.
